＜About the Lecturer：講師紹介＞

Taigu Gensho
Abbot of Fukugonji Temple of the Busshin sect. President of the Jiko Group. The monk name "Taigu" signifies a state of complete freedom, unbound by anything. After attending Komazawa University and the main temple of the Soto sect, Sojiji, Taigu earned a Master's degree in Literature from Aichi Gakuin University Graduate School. With five roles—as a monk, entrepreneur, writer, therapist, and karate master—he is an unconventional monk who embodies the phrase "neither a monk nor a layperson." His YouTube channel, "Taigu Oshō no Ichimon Ittō (Monk Taigu's Q and A)," has numerous subscribers from both within and outside Japan. In the first year of the Reiwa era, he founded the Busshin sect, which returns to the essence of Buddhism and advocates for cultivating compassion, wisdom, and Buddhist nature, marking a new beginning for mankind.

大愚 元勝
佛心宗大叢山福厳寺住職。慈光グループ会長。僧名「大愚」は、何にもとらわれない自由な境地を表す。駒澤大学、曹洞宗大本山總持寺を経て、愛知学院大学大学院にて文学修士を取得。僧侶・事業家・作家・セラピスト・空手家と５つの顔を持ち、「僧にあらず俗にあらず」を体現する異色の僧侶。YouTubeチャンネル「大愚和尚の一問一答」は国内外からの登録者が多数にのぼる。令和元年には、仏教の本質に立ち返り、「慈悲心、知恵、仏性を育む」ことを宗旨とする佛心宗を興し、新たなスタートを切る。
